As I leave home and travel down under once again, I gather the experiences to give thanks and hold. I am very grateful for a successful event in Rome: the pre-launch concert of my forthcoming CD: Break the Crystal Frame, which will be officially released on August 21 by Willow Publishing, Australia.
The even took place in a beautiful Museum of Sacred art near the Vatican above the San Giovanni dei Fiorentini Church, which boasts a Michelangelo sculpture of when he was in his 20’s
as well as two busts by Bernini…
as well as a Tintoretto painting and other beauties. The evening was introduced by Monsignor Paul Tighe, secretary of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, who spoke profoundly of the power of music in human expression and faith experience.
I was accompanied by musicians Thomas Cuneo and Luigi Mas,
and the evening was a moment of celebration for the Verbum Dei community
as well as many other friends, old and new.
Al in all a great event!
I will keep you posted on CD launch details…
I don’t even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was
good. I don’t know who you are but certainly you’re going to a
famous blogger if you are not already 😉 Cheers!
Thanks Neil! :). Not famous…and I wish I had more time to write, but whatever will be, will be.
